How we got started
The company began with local moves around Richmond and quickly picked up condo work near Brighouse and family homes further out. As customers started asking for more, commercial relocations, piano moving, and freight runs across the province became part of the regular schedule rather than occasional favours.
Devon leads the crew day to day, and the habits that shaped the early jobs, honest quotes, a walkthrough before every estimate, and a plain answer to any question, are still the standard the whole team works to.
How crews are trained
New movers spend their first days learning to pad and wrap furniture, build a tight load in the truck, and handle a dolly safely on a ramp or a set of stairs. Nobody goes to a customer's home until that training is signed off.
Packers train separately on dish barrels, wardrobe boxes, and artwork, and specialty movers who handle pianos and safes train on the equipment those jobs actually require, not a general moving dolly.
Crews stay together on jobs where possible, since people who have worked side by side for months move faster and communicate without shouting across a driveway.
What we believe about the job
A move is stressful enough without a company adding to it through vague pricing or a crew that treats your belongings carelessly. We would rather lose a job on price than win one by underquoting and surprising you later.
That means a written estimate before your date is locked in, a crew that tells you plainly if something is not going to fit through a doorway before they force it, and a lead who stays your single point of contact from arrival to departure.
Working across the region
While Richmond is home base, the crew regularly works across Vancouver, Delta, Surrey, and Burnaby, and takes on freight and long-distance jobs that reach across British Columbia, including moves that cross to Vancouver Island. Coastal weather, ferry schedules, and bridge traffic are all part of the planning, not an afterthought.
Whatever the size of the job, the same standards apply: a real walkthrough, protection for the home on both ends, and a crew that finishes what it starts.
